Stray dogs affected by the overflowing Yamuna in Delhi are aggressive apparently due to the sudden change in the environment. This has been a problem for rescuers on boats as some of the strays jumped on the boat and behaved aggressively. Many dogs were also seen swimming in the muddy water, looking for dry places. Some climbed on roofs to escape from the rising water.
