As Passenger Trains Resume, Over 3,400 People Board Trains On Day 1 In Delhi

Passenger trains in India restarted today after 49 days. People waited for hours outside the New Delhi railway station and a large number of policemen were deployed to implement law and order as well as social distancing at the station. From Delhi, three trains left today - one for Bilaspur in Madhya Pradesh, one for Dibrugarh in Assam and another for Bengaluru in Karnataka carrying over 3,400 passengers.
