The army has been deployed to open five jammed gates in central Delhi's ITO barrage. This part of the national capital has been flooded after the water level in the Yamuna rose in the past three days. The army is drilling around the area and pulling the gates with a crane. The Delhi government believes that due to the closure of these five gates, instead of flowing further towards Okhla, water is accumulating in ITO and Red Fort.
