Akasa Air CEO Vinay Dube On IPO, 186 Aircraft Order & Competing With IndiGo

Akasa Air has completed four years of operations and recently inducted its 40th aircraft, with another 186 aircraft on order through 2032. In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, Akasa Air CEO and co-founder Vinay Dube discusses the airline's ambitious growth plans, Boeing 737 MAX deliveries, plans to reach 100 aircraft and the possibility of an IPO within the next 2–4 years. Dube also speaks about competing with IndiGo and Air India, expansion at Navi Mumbai and Noida airports, pilot retention, aircraft utilisation, international expansion and the launch of Akasa's new loyalty programme, Akasa Elevate.
