AI Turbulence Horror Probe: Pilot's Initial Dope Test 'Not Negative', Say Sources

A major controversy has erupted over the Air India Phuket-Delhi flight that encountered severe turbulence, leaving passengers and crew injured. Sources say the pilot's initial psychoactive-substance screening was "not negative", with a confirmatory test report still awaited. The Civil Aviation Ministry has termed the incident serious and said the pilots have been de-rostered pending the ongoing investigation. Air India maintains that all screening procedures were conducted as per protocol and says it is awaiting the final test report while fully cooperating with authorities.
