After Babri Masjid Call, TMC MLA Announces Shri Krishna Temple
Months ahead of the West Bengal elections, the temple-versus-mosque debate has resurfaced. After a controversial call to rebuild the Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, TMC MLA Zakir Hussain has announced plans to construct a Shri Krishna temple, pledging ₹50 lakh from his own funds for both a temple and a mosque, saying the move is aimed at promoting communal harmony.
