Abhishek Banerjee Grilled By ED In Bengal Teachers Recruitment Scam Probe
The Enforcement Directorate's probe into the West Bengal teachers' recruitment scam has intensified, with TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee facing nearly 10 hours of questioning. According to sources, investigators questioned him about alleged money trails, cash transfer chats, links to accused individuals, and the utilization of funds allegedly generated through the scam. While the BJP has demanded accountability over corruption allegations, the TMC has described the investigation as a politically motivated witch hunt. Following his appearance before the ED, Abhishek Banerjee accused central agencies of targeting opposition leaders and vowed to continue his political fight.
