131-Foot Ravana Effigy To Be Burnt In Dehradun On Vijayadashami Today

A 131-feet effigy of Ravana is set to be burnt on the occasion of Dussehra in Uttarakhand's Dehradun. The effigy will be burnt in 12 stages at the parade ground on October 24. Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra is a major Hindu festival celebrated every year at the end of Navaratri. This year, Dussehra will be celebrated on October 24. The Dashami Tithi will start from 5:45 pm today and will end at 3:14 PM tomorrow.
