12 Bonded Labourers Rescued From Muzaffarnagar Factory; Deaths During Captivity Being Probed
Uttar Pradesh Police have rescued 12 bonded labourers, including minors, from a paper plate manufacturing factory in Muzaffarnagar following a rescue operation launched after one worker managed to escape and alert authorities. The rescued workers allege they were subjected to months of physical abuse, starvation and forced labour under conditions of extreme fear and violence.
