A simple late-night journey turned into a stressful experience and has now sparked a larger conversation online. A passenger recently shared a video about her experience with Nuego. After booking her ride, she reached her boarding point on time. However, the situation did not unfold as expected. In a now-viral video, Asmeet shared how she missed her bus and was left stranded late at night.
Passenger Claims Lack Of Communication Led To Missed Nuego Bus
Asmeet Kaur had booked a bus from Chandigarh to Gurgaon for around 10:30 PM through RedBus. She reached the boarding point 10 minutes early, relying on the app's tracking feature, but the bus never showed up. She waited at the boarding location, but there was still no sign of the bus. When she finally called the conductor, he asked her where she was standing.
After she confirmed she was at the correct boarding point, he told her that the bus was actually parked at an HP petrol pump, about 10–15 minutes away. She immediately requested the conductor to wait for a few minutes so she could reach the new location. But according to Asmeet, the response was rude and dismissive.

She says he refused to wait, told her not to waste his time, and disconnected the call. In her video, Asmeet questioned the way the situation was handled. She also revealed that this wasn't the first time she had faced an issue with Nuego. According to her, it had happened twice before. This time, she said, she was completely done with the service.
Calling out both Nuego and RedBus, she wrote, “This was beyond pathetic.” She also highlighted how unfair the situation felt and ended by demanding a full refund and compensation and asked the company to fix its service.
Nuego Responds After Viral Reel Highlights Missed Pickup
In response to her viral reel, Nuego replied with an apology, saying, “We understand how frustrating this experience must have been and regret the inconvenience caused. This is not the experience we aim to provide.” They also asked her to share her PNR details via DM so they could look into the issue.
Many people in the comments section also related to it and shared their own frustrating encounters. One user wrote, “They do not cooperate with their passengers at all. The same thing happened with me when I was travelling from Delhi to Jaipur."
Another shared, "The same happened with me at Jaipur when I requested them to please wait for 5 mins. I am stuck in traffic. I was with my parents, but the staff was so rude and arrogant @nuegoindia. Pathetic service. Since then, I never booked."
One person recalled a moment that sounds almost identical, sharing, "It has happened with me too. In Rishikesh, my bus was at 2 pm. We reached at 1:58 pm, and the bus was leaving right in front of me, and I called him to say, 'Bhaiya, I am behind, ruk jao.' He said, 'Ab time hogaya.'”
And one comment pointed out a larger issue, “It's not the case of Nuego only…most of the bus operators on RedBus do this.
