Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu on Tuesday announced that direct flight services between Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh will begin in August. The new service will operate three times a week.

In a post on X, Naidu announced that direct flights between Vijayawada and Varanasi will commence on August 13. The flights will operate in each direction on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

“A blessed beginning to this Shravana Maasam! Happy to share that Vijayawada will now be directly connected to Varanasi, the sacred Dham of Baba Vishwanath, with weekly 3 direct flights in each direction from Aug. 13 on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday,” the minister said.
