Have you ever stumbled upon the same person or the same group of travellers while on a vacation? First, you spot them on the train or an aeroplane and think nothing of it. Then suddenly, they pop up again at the exact same destination as yours. This time, too, you brush off the encounter as a pure coincidence. But imagine you suddenly bump into them at the hotel where you are staying. At this point, it all feels like the cosmos is playing tricks on you, making you wonder if it's purely fate or if the world is just way smaller than you thought.
If you have ever faced a similar situation, then trust us, you are not alone. Not long ago, travel vlogger Onat Siahaan shared a video on Instagram where he humorously presented a similar scenario.

In the clip, he was seen crossing paths with another man several times during his sojourn. The text layout read, "That one person from the plane you see everywhere on the holiday." In the caption, the vlogger explained, "Saw him at Heathrow, then transited in India, same transfer to Maldives, same itinerary and then saw him again back in London"
The internet found the video quite amusing and wasted no time reacting to it.
"It was destiny," pointed out one user.
"You will also see him on the day of your wedding at the altar," claimed another.
Many found parallels with daily encounters. A comment read, "Plot twist: it's the same person you see at the gym, no matter what time you go."
This user even tried to find the reason behind it and said, "The result of using travel sites that suggest the same things for everyone, just saying."
