Lucknow, also known as the “City/Land of Nawabs”, has time and again offered a blend of old charm and modernity. From its rich heritage and marvellous architecture across the city to its mouth-watering cuisine, the capital of Uttar Pradesh undoubtedly holds a significant place in the hearts of many travellers.
Recently, Maneesh Chaudhary, an Indian travel vlogger currently on a solo "All India" journey, shared his personal experience from Lucknow. So far, he has travelled to 20 states across India and has documented the local vibe, street food, and cultural shifts he experiences while moving through different regions. His late February 2026 stop was in Lucknow. Besides being enchanted by the city's beauty and iconic tourist spots, he appreciated its cleanliness. The travel vlogger also compared its atmosphere to "European vibes".
In an Instagram video, he says in Hindi, “I don't feel like I am in India. Look at this, does this feel like I am in India?” while showcasing a captivating spot in the city.
The video captures Day 270 of his “All India Travel” series as he walks through a clean street lined with an array of food stalls. Despite being crowded with locals, the place looked every bit as shiny and polished.
Mesmerised by the view, he then continued, “I am in Lucknow, the capital of my state, Uttar Pradesh,” adding, “I didn't realise how much UP has changed. I have come to Lucknow for the first time, and I am seeing so much. I can't believe it. So much cleanliness, and people are sitting here professionally. They are not littering.”
He further explained, “It feels so good to see. I have been to 20 states so far. I have never seen a city like this. I can see so much cleanliness here. So much professionalism in people. Everyone is sitting here, eating food. The road is so clean. Everyone is working properly.” Maneesh then revealed that the place he was at is Food Valley, sharing, “I am getting a foreign vibe here. I feel like I am in Europe or some foreign country. This is the best city - Lucknow.”
