The state recently got its first-ever glass bridge at a location in Sindhudurg. The unique see-through structure stretches across the Napne waterfall near Vaibhavwadi. The Glass Bridge at Napne waterfall features high-strength transparent glass. Therefore, visitors crossing the bridge can look directly at the water below. The bridge has vibrant and dramatic arches and railings as well as a large butterfly sculpture. The location is full of natural beauty on all sides. Standing on the bridge allows you 360-degree views of the landscape. The glass bridge in Sindhudurg was inaugurated on July 22, 2025. It was constructed under the Sindhuratna tourism promotion scheme. Regional Minister Nitesh Rane took to X to announce its opening.

What's The Best Time To Visit Napne Waterfall In Sindhudurg?
This spot is especially amazing in the monsoon, when the rains refresh the greenery and contribute to enriching the waterfall. However, in earlier times, heavy rains could mean that it was not completely safe to cross this terrain. Now, the glass bridge offers a safer and more convenient option for sightseeing in this area. If you visit sometime between September and February, you are likely to get the best views.
