An outbreak of panic sparked by troublemakers caused mayhem in Seville's nightime Good Friday processions, famed for their religious floats, hooded penitents and hordes of spectators, seriously injuring one person, Spanish authorities said Friday.

Several people were injured in a stampede at Spain's San Fermin bull run on Saturday, when bulls that had chased them down the cobbled streets of Pamplona were crushed against them at the narrow entrance to the bullring.

A 17-year-old girl, who was admitted to hospital in critical condition after being crushed at a giant Halloween party in the Spanish capital, died on Saturday, authorities said. The stampede toll has now risen to four.
