The New York Times on Wednesday said it was moving its digital news hub from Hong Kong to South Korea as a result of a national security law Beijing imposed on the city last month and trouble obtaining visas.

South Korean authorities arrested a former member of a leftist political party on Wednesday for breaking a state security law by making favourable comments about the North, the same law under which a Korean-American woman was deported four days ago.
