The Solar Impulse 2 aircraft passed the halfway mark of its marathon flight across the Atlantic late Tuesday, one of the most challenging legs of its historic sun-powered journey around the world.

The world's only 'no-fuel' solar-powered aircraft 'Solar Impulse-2' today took off for Varanasi from Ahmedabad after a week's stopover in the city and a two-hour delay this morning. It will take approximately 12 hours and 30 minutes to reach Varanasi, the only stretch it flies in India on its world tour.
