Auto Sales October 2021: Passenger Vehicle Sales Drops 27% YoY Due To Chip Shortage

The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has released the monthly sales numbers for October 2021. Last month the total passenger vehicle sales in the domestic market stood at 2,26,353 units, a year-on-year decline of 27 per cent compared to the 3,10,694 vehicles sold in October 2020.

The Society Of Indian Automobile Manufacturers, or SIAM India, has released the monthly sales data for July 2021. Last month, the auto sector witnessed an overall year-on-year (YoY) growth of 4 per cent, selling 15,36,269 vehicles, as against 14,76,861 units sold in July 2020.
