South Korea's health ministry Friday urged people to 'conquer their fear' of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and go about their day-to-day lives as normal, saying new cases of the virus and the number of people quarantined were falling.

A joint South Korean-World Health Organization mission studying an outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) recommended today that schools be reopened, as they were unlikely to spread the disease, just as school boards recommended more be shut.
