Pesticide Use Can Cause Diabetes: Scientists Sound Warning

A team of scientists have found links between use of pesticides and the high prevalence of diabetes in India. They have suggested that view of the high occurrence of diabetes in India, the use of OP (organophosphate) pesticides should be reconsidered.

The world's smallest pacemaker was successfully implanted in a 92-year-old man at Medanta Medicity Hospital in Gurgaon, one of the first hospitals in the country to offer such a heart device, said a doctor today.
