Calcutta High Court judge Justice C S Karnan today ordered issuance of non-bailable warrants against seven judges of the Supreme Court, including the Chief Justice of India (CJI), for not being represented before him, even as the Attorney General said he was not sure whether the "gentleman" would undergo medical tests as ordered by the top court.

Justice C S Karnan of the Madras High Court, who courted controversy by staying the CJI's order transferring him to Calcutta High Court, on Tuesday admitted that he had issued an "erroneous" order due to his "mental frustration resulting in the loss of his mental balance."
