Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has retained its position as the leading varsity in the world while no Indian institution could make it to the top 100, according to a global university ranking released today.

President Pranab Mukherjee today congratulated the Indian Institute of Science-Bangalore (IISc-B) and the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D) for figuring in the list of top 200 institutions of the QS World University Rankings.
