Google announced its plans to discontinue the G Suite legacy free edition. Starting on May 1, Google will automatically upgrade users to a paid account. The company will select a subscription plan for users who fails to pick one on their own by the start of May. Users can complete the transition by setting up Google Workspace billing before July 1.
