The bomb scare on a Delhi-bound GoAir flight last evening has turned out to be a mere hoax, after the bomb squad and the aviation regulator DGCA declared there was no possible threat on board.

A Delhi-bound GoAir flight has been shifted to the isolation bay at the Mumbai airport after a suspected bomb threat message.

An emergency was declared for Jet Airways flight 9W 432, from Mangalore to Mumbai, due to a suspected flat tyre.  However, the Aircraft landed safely at 5.13 pm on the short secondary runway at Mumbai Airport.   Passengers are believed to be safe and no injuries have been reported so far.  All operations are normal now. 

The Civil Aviation watchdog DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation) has said that the Jet flight incident last night, where 26 people were injured shows serious procedural lapses in dealing with the emergency and evacuation process.The DGCA has suspended the pilot, first officer and the crew members.
