Meta's Express Wi-Fi Affordable Internet Service to Shut Down in India and Other Regions After Six Years

Meta has announced the shutdown of its affordable Internet access program Express Wi-Fi, which was introduced back in 2016. The service partnered with local Internet service providers and mobile operators to provide cheaper Internet to underserved regions. Meta has not provided a reason for winding down the service in over 30 countries.
