The MCD on Wednesday sealed five more basements of coaching institutes in West Delhi and South Delhi zones making the total tally reach 35 since Sunday, according to civic body officials.

Following the deaths of three UPSC aspirants due to flooding in the basement of a coaching institute in Delhi, Dr Vikas Divyakirti, founder and MD of Drishti IAS said that he would not do anything that is not allowed in Delhi.

Days after the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) sealed multiple coaching centres running from the basement, including one by Drishti IAS, the institute's chief Vikas Divyakirti said on Tuesday that the safety of students is paramount.
