Stating that India's growth will benefit from recent policy reforms, a consequent pickup in investment, and lower commodity prices, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today projected a 7.5 per cent growth rate for India in 2016, against China's 6.3 per cent.

In what is being seen as a tit-for-tat move, China has cautioned its citizens against travelling to India following protests over the increase in petroleum prices, after New Delhi issued advisories warning its traders against doing business in the Chinese commodity hub of Yiwu.
