The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturer (SIAM) today voiced its opinion on the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' idea to implement BS VI emission norms in India by 2021. SIAM said that based on current conditions this idea as unrealistic for the Indian car market and said that a more realistic time would be April 2024.
