Ban On Non-ISI Marked Helmets Called Off In Bengaluru

Following the backlash on imposing a blanket ban on non-ISI marked helmets, the Bengaluru City traffic police have decided to withdraw its drive on substandard helmets. The crackdown that was supposed to start from February 1, 2018, has been called off after the city traffic police asked for clarification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Doctors, Nurse Burnt To Death After Truck Rams Ambulance In Bengal

Four people were burnt alive this afternoon when a truck rammed their ambulance and it burst into flames in West Bengal. The people killed were two doctors, a nurse and a pharmacist, travelling to a health camp nearby. The incident took place in Murshidabad district, 250 km from Kolkata. There were no patients in the ambulance.
