30 soldiers of the Indian Army decide to climb the highest peak in the world. However, their plans go awry after a series of devastating Earthquakes hit Nepal on the 25th April, 2015. The 7.8 magnitude earthquake shook the entire Nepal region, and this time it didn't even leave the Base camp, considered to be a place where no avalanches have been recorded till date. The avalanche was so massive that it swept away the entire camp area leaving heaps of debris but the Indian Army continued their journey. Here's a look inside Indian Army's courageous journey.

Our Indian Army team got the privilege to meet the first Indian Woman Mountaineer to reach the summit. She climbed the Everest in the year 1984 and made the Nation proud. The Army team got an opportunity to meet such an inspiration and learn a lot from her about the summit.

The team was greeted in Kathmandu airport by the Nepal Army with love and respect. The team was also wished luck for the successful completion of the summit by them and it was made sure that the team should get all kinds of help in terms of aid and service whenever they required.

Every summiteers visit this temple to pray for their success and safe summit expedition as well. The summiteers, no matter how many times they come for their summit, make sure that they visit this temple.

A meet to remember - Sushmita Maskey

Sushmita Maskey is the first Nepali Woman Mountaineer who did 7 summits to the highest peaks of 7 different continents. She is in to this field for the past 12 years. She belongs from a conventional and an orthodox Nepali family, so it was hard for her to break the boundation. But she did it and made her nation and family proud.
