Political bigwigs across parties made time on Sunday evening to attend the wedding reception of BJP President Nitin Gadkari's son Sarang. The wedding was held earlier in the week in Nagpur.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made some time from his busy schedule to attend the wedding reception of Nitin Gadkari's son Sarang. Not just the couple, even few other members of Gadkari's family bowed down and sought the PM's blessing. Mr Singh posed with the couple and shared the stage with BJP's Sushma Swaraj.
Former President APJ Abdul Kalam also attended the reception for a short while.
Karnataka Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda who is battling a rebellion in his state was also at the reception.
Defence Minister AK Antony too made an appearance to wish the couple.
JDU President Sharad Yadav was also present.
Sharad Pawar was present and happily posed with the couple. Standing besides him was the BJP's Arun Jaitley.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh did not seem to mind posing with the couple next to Sushma Swaraj who graciously escorted the PM on and off the stage.
Manmohan Singh even made some time to chat on the sidelines of the wedding reception with Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Sushma Swaraj.
