India and China held top-level military talks to discuss the Galwan face-off and other points of dispute for more than 11 hours, during which the generals resumed discussions on the disengagement process. More than nine million people have now been infected with the coronavirus worldwide. More than half of the 9,000,091 cases are in Europe and the United States: Europe having recorded 2,537,451 and the United States 2,281,903.
A week after a brutal clash between soldiers from the Indian Army and China's PLA in eastern Ladakh's Galwan Valley, top military officials from the two sides held a marathon meeting on Monday at Moldo on the Chinese side of the contested LAC with a focus on cooling tensions and thinning military build-up on both sides of the border.
