Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha election from Vadodara in Gujarat.

"I hope that all voters in Vododara will celebrate democracy with enthusiasm and on April 30 vote in large numbers for the BJP," says Narendra Modi after filing his nomination for the elections.

Mr Modi's nomination was not without its pomp and show. He earlier embarked on a roadshow of 4 kms to the Collector's office; thousands of his supporters walked with Mr Modi who was waving at the crowd from an open jeep.

The Gujarat Chief Minister was accompanied by supporters as he arrived at the District Collector's office to file his nomination papers.
