Baba Ramdev has courted arrest along with his supporters in New Delhi. Waving Indian flags and shouting slogans, the protesters climbed into a row of police buses parked around the Ramlila Ground, where the yoga guru had been on a hunger strike against corruption and black money for five days.

The yoga guru took the opportunity to slam the ruling Congress saying, “The Congress's hand is not with us, but my hand will now be held to stop this march."

As though on cue, his supporters began to fill the Delhi Transport Corporation buses standing by. These buses also doubled as barricades to stop the protestors from moving towards Parliament.

The Delhi Police has stopped Baba Ramdev's protest towards Parliament near the Ranjit Singh flyover. Baba Ramdev, in his trademark red robes and a black band of protest on his forehead, was standing atop a vehicle with many supporters carrying Indian flags following him.

Surrounded by supporters waving the national flag, yoga guru Baba Ramdev began his march towards Parliament from the camp at Ramlila Maidan, just four kms away, where he has been on a hunger strike against corruption and black money for five days.

There was high security along the route that the Baba Ramdev and his supporters were taking to protest against corruption and black money.

Baba Ramdev began his protest camp against corruption in Delhi five days ago by declaring that he would not target any political party or personality.

There was a huge turnout in the Baba Ramdev's protest camp against corruption in Delhi today.
