Arvind Kejriwal, on dharna against police, spends night on the road

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his six ministers and about 200 workers of his Aam Aadmi Party spent the night at the venue of their indefinite protest that they began on Monday; it is a security nightmare for the police, which is tasked with securing the area ahead of Republic Day.

Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet, who are on an indefinite protest, spent the night in central Delhi with scores of supporters and slept on the streets outside Rail Bhavan where they were stopped by the police yesterday. Despite the biting cold, the mood among the protesters was still upbeat. Arvind Kejriwal, who spent the night on the street near Rail Bhavan, up before day break to waiting media crews.

The Delhi government started its indefinite protest against the Centre and Delhi Police demanding the suspension of policemen involved in the Khirki village case; insisting they will not move from the venue till their demands are met. Delhi's law minister who has been at the centre of controversies slept on the pavement outside Rail Bhavan. (White quilt)

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal slept on the road next to his car on a quilt that doubled up as a mattress. His unofficial security cordon spent the night keeping the media from getting too close to him to take pictures and footage.
