Iran Attack on Ship Renews Hormuz Fears

Iran on Thursday attacked a Singapore-flagged cargo ship that was crossing the Strait of Hormuz through a channel opened by the UN's International Maritime Organization (IMO). The UK Maritime Operations Centre reported that a ship had been struck 7.5 nautical miles southeast of Oman's port of Dahit by "an unknown projectile". No casualties were reported and the ship continued towards its destination.
