Nikunj: 25-year-old Nikunj Mallik from Faridabad is an established accessory designer. She has done her Masters in accessory design and fashion management from NIFT and worked with established companies like Wills Lifestyle and Lee Cooper. Nikunj got through a PHD program at IIM Ahmedabad but did not join.
She is very close to her family, especially her mother. She is a very good writer and likes to read and write poetry. She is also an avid dog lover and has five pet dogs.
She wants to marry Rahul because she finds him to be a courageous man.
Charmy: 20-year-old Charmy from Ahmedabad is a law student, she stood first in her semester before coming on to the show. Charmy says she is a vocal person who is not afraid to speak her mind.
She feels she has an intellectual and political compatibility with Rahul.
Harpreet: 21-yr-Harpreet Chabra from Delhi is a model and anchor by profession and is quite mature for her age. Harpreet lost her father at a young age, is very close to her mother. She is very religious and goes to the Gurudwara everyday.
She is diplomatic by nature and tries to avoid confrontation. Harpreet feels her nature and personality are very compatible with Rahul.
Mrinmai: 28-yr-old Mrinmai Kolwalkar belongs to Pune and is a model by profession. She has an MA in Sociology from Ferguson College Pune. Mrinmai is the only child as she lost her younger brother. She believes in being frank in her views and likes to sort out issues face to face. She has a sarcastic sense of humour, which she uses to her advantage. Her strength is her family, her belief in God and her good looks. Mrinmai has won many beauty pageants in Pune.

Twinkle: 22-year-old Twinkle Mukherjee from Sreerampur, West Bengal is a qualified engineer from West Bengal University of Technology. She is an avid sports enthusiast and a part time cricket commentator. Twinkle is an avid biker and loves outdoor sports. Though she hails from a small town, she confesses that she prefers the city life of Kolkata.
Dil To Pagal Hai is her favourite film and she always wanted to marry a ‘Rahul'.
Tannu: 24-yr-old Tanu Bhatia from Faridabad is an HR professional. After her father's untimely demise, she has taken on the responsibility of her entire family. Tanu is also a guest lecturer for MBA students.
Tanu has a passion for dance and is also a trained ballet dancer. She thinks of herself as a simple girl who can fall in love easily.
Tanu believes that Rahul knows how to handle tough situations.
Priyadarshani: 24-year-old Priyadarshini Singh from Varanasi runs her own NGO called Kshitij Education Social & Welfare Society. She is proud of her Indian roots, and likes poetry. Priyadarshini first saw Rahul during her childhood days and has been interested in him for almost a decade.
She believes that Rahul and she will understand each other well due to their similar background. She also thinks of him as a youth icon, who has it in him to become a great political leader one day.
Rajshree: 26-yr-old Rajshree Mishra from Kolkatta is a model-cum-actress by profession. She strongly believes in the virtues of a fit body and healthy mind and is a member of Brahmakumari, a spiritual organisation that teaches anger management and meditation. She believes in being honest. She loves reading books and her favourite author is Sidney Sheldon.
She admires the fact that Rahul is an honest and down to earth person despite his high profile family background.
Dimpy: 21-yr-old Dimpy Ganguly from Kolkata is a model and actress. She gave up a lead role with a leading Bengali filmmaker to come on RDLJ to marry Rahul. Her actual name is Soumasri which means "as beautiful as the moon", but since childhood she has had very cute dimples which got her the name Dimpy. She believes in living life on the edge, and feels this is what makes her stand out from the rest.
She finds Rahul to be a very nice, friendly and clean-hearted guy.
Sonia: 19-yr-old Sonia Kaur from Jammu is the youngest of the potential brides. She is currently pursuing a BA degree. She is a great cook and makes delicious rajma chawal. She feels she is an emotional person who cries quite easily. She is enamored by the concept of dates and can't wait for her first date with Rahul.
Rupa: 23-year-old Rupa Khurana from Rajendra Nagar Delhi, is a fashion designer and runs her own boutique.
Rupa is soft spoken and an introvert. She has never been to a discotheque in her life. She believes in the theory that in relationships, opposites attract and feels that's just the case with her and Rahul.
Mani: 22-yr-old Mani from Mohali, Punjab is a freelance anchor.
Mani thinks of herself as a free spirited and fun loving girl who has a never-say-die spirit in life. She is also very good at mimicry. Just before she was to leave for the show, her grandmother passed away and she was in two minds. However her brother, knowing how keen she was to marry Rahul, encouraged her to come on the show.
Swati: 23-yr-old Swati is a senior executive in a BPO in Delhi. She is a financially independent woman and has been shouldering the responsibility of her family since a young age. She has a younger brother who she pampers a lot and hopes that he also takes over the responsibility of the family soon since she wants to get married.
She finds Rahul charming and broad minded and someone who she believes will encourage her to continue to work.
Mrinal: 34-yr-old Mrinal Ghiya from Mumbai is a writer and director, who specialises in spiritual dramas. She is devotee of Lord Krishna and has been an active member of ISKON for many years. At 34, she is the oldest of the brides but has never been in a relationship before. However she feels a deep spiritual connect with Rahul who is himself an avid Krishna devotee.
She sees Krishna in Rahul and is not jealous of the remaining 14 women because she believes that Krishna also had 16801 wives who he gave equal attention and love to.
Rashmi: 21-yr-old Rashmi, from Lucknow is a post graduate student in Mass Communication. She is a news anchor by profession and her most proud moment in life was when her first news bulletin went on air. Rashmi makes friends easily and likes surfing social networking sites on the Internet.
She admires the way Rahul coped with the personal tragedy of his father's assassination.
