The Toronto International Film Festival saw a ton of stars parade the red carpet. Here's a look at the who's who of the global film industry.

A cavalcade of celebrities was on display at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), with internationally famous stars like Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Freida Pinto promoting their various films.

Even Bollywood had a say in matters as Akshay Kumar, a big favourite in Canada, premiered his much-awaited ice hockey film, Speedy Singhs.

Earlier this year, Jolie was signed on as the brand ambassador of the famous company; apparently, she was paid millions for a single ad campaign, all of which was donated to her various charitable causes.

Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst walked the red carpet at TIFF to promote her controversial new film, Melancholia. She looked beautiful in a polka-dotted Prada number, coupling it with a pleated Chanel skirt.

Directed by Danish maestro Lars Von Trier (Antichrist, The Idiots), Melancholia was in the news when, at the Cannes Film Festival, Trier went on an anti-Semitic rant, leading him to be banned. Melancholia, however, won the Golden Palm even then.
