The former Miss World and L'Oréal Paris ambassador stepped onto the Croisette in Luminara, a custom couture creation by Indian designer Amit Aggarwal. Rendered in a deep abyss blue that seemed to drink in the light around it, the sculptural piece featured dramatic wing-like shoulder extensions born from the designer's signature study of biomimicry, giving Aishwarya the silhouette of something between a celestial being and a work of living art.
At its heart: over 1,500 hours of hand-placed Crystal Vein embroidery, thousands of crystalline embellishments woven into an intricate lattice that refracted and shimmered with every step, as though light itself were travelling through the gown.

According to the press release, Amit Aggarwal's collaboration with stylist Mohit Rai and Aishwarya represents a convergence of cinematic presence and couture innovation.
“Aishwarya has always approached Cannes with a strong sense of individuality and evolution. With Luminara, Mohit and I wanted to create something that felt less like a garment and more like an energy field around her. The piece explores the idea of light as strength, movement, and transformation, while honouring the extraordinary radiance she has carried through decades on the global stage,” the designer said.

According to a press release by L'Oreal Paris, Aishwarya's beauty look was crafted around a Royal Sapphire theme, classic glamour sharpened for the contemporary moment. Her complexion glowed with the kind of effortless radiance that reads as skin-but-better.
