Goa:
In a shocking case of mob justice in Betul in Goa, two boys were mercilessly beaten up by locals for allegedly stealing mobile phones and valuables belonging to foreigners.
In a video clip, the two boys are seen being beaten up with wooden sticks and then being paraded naked after being tied to motorcycles.
Following their own 'investigation', the locals had called the duo to prove their innocence. Thereafter, the unidentified men took the two boys to an isolated place; stripped them and then mercilessly thrashed them. The incident took place on May 22.
The Goa police has arrested the two boys in connection with the thefts and admitted them to a hospital. A counter case has also been registered against the locals.
