Triumph Motorcycles has expanded its premium adventure bike lineup in India with the launch of the new Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition. The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition has been priced at Rs 15.35 lakh, while the Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition costs Rs 16.05 lakh (both ex-showroom). These new special editions of the Triumph Tiger 900 bring exclusive paint schemes, factory-fitted accessories, and a more distinctive character for touring and off-road riders.
Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition: Design And Features
The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition is based on the GT Pro variant and is aimed at riders who spend more time touring on highways and tarmac roads. The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition gets a classy Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black colour scheme with blue accents that make the motorcycle stand out.
Apart from the cosmetic changes, the Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition also comes with factory-fitted engine protection bars and an Akrapovic exhaust as standard. Triumph says the setup is designed to improve touring comfort while also adding a sportier exhaust note. The Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition continues to use premium cycle parts, TFT instrumentation, multiple riding modes, and an extensive electronics package.
Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition: Hardware
The Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition is based on the Rally Pro variant and carries a more rugged personality. The Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition gets Baja Orange highlights along with extra protection equipment and adventure-focused styling details.
Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition
Triumph has equipped the Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition with fuel tank protection bars, long-travel suspension, and an Akrapovic silencer. The bike rides on a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel setup, making it more suitable for serious off-road riding.

Interestingly, the Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition is priced Rs 10,000 lower than the standard Rally Pro despite offering additional accessories and unique styling updates.

Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine, Desert Editions: Engine And Specs
Powering both the Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine Edition and Triumph Tiger 900 Desert Edition is the brand's 888cc liquid-cooled inline three-cylinder T-Plane engine. The motor produces 108 hp at 9,500 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 6,850 rpm.

The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. Both motorcycles also continue with premium suspension hardware and advanced rider aids.
