Triumph is preparing to launch the Thruxton 400 on August 6. To build excitement, the brand released a creative teaser showing a coffee cup with latte art shaped like a motorcycle, perfectly reflecting the cafe racer spirit of the Thruxton 400. The bike was recently seen testing in an undisguised form, offering a clear look at its design elements and confirming its production-ready status.

The Triumph Thruxton is expected to get a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as seen on the other 400cc motorcycles by the brand. This power mill is capable of churning out a peak power and torque output of 40 hp and 37.5 Nm. With the launch of the Thruxton 400, Triumph Motorcycles will have 5 400cc bikes in its Indian brochure.

The spy shots claim that the Triumph Thruxton 400 seeks most of its design inspiration from its elder sibling, the Thruxton 1200 on sale in the international market. The motorcycle spots a similar cafe racer fairing up front. It gets retro-inspired round LED headlights, a raked windscreen, and clip-on handlebars. Also, the sculpted tank and bar-end mirrors give it an aggressive appeal.

While the detailed feature list is yet to be revealed by the brand, the Triumph Thruxton 400 is liley to get features like a digital instrument cluster, dual channel ABS, multiple riding modes, and more.

Looking at the brand's price range of the 400cc motorcycles, the Triumph Thruxton is expected to be launched at a price tag of around Rs 2.50-2.60 lakh. If the expected price matches the original price of the retro cafe racer, then it will enjoy a clean market without any direct rivals in terms of price and displacement.
