Royal Enfield has achieved record global sales for its Himalayan 450 motorcycle, with over 38,000 units sold in FY26. This performance stands out amid the company's overall sales of around 12 lakh units for the fiscal year ending March 2026. This translates to a growth of 53 per cent, excluding the sales in the Indian market.

Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 12,38,659 units in FY26, marking a 23 per cent increase from 10,09,900 units in FY25. Domestic dispatches reached about 11 lakh units, while exports hit 1.31 lakh units, also up 23 per cent year-on-year. The 350 cc lineup, including Classic 350 and Hunter 350, drove much of this growth, accounting for over 90 per cent of volume in key periods.

The Himalayan 450 led with the strongest global sales in its category, surpassing 38,000 units sold worldwide. This adventure tourer, paired with the Guerrilla 450, posted combined figures of around 33,000 units in the first 11 months domestically, though the segment faced competition. Monthly dispatches showed steady demand, with February 2026 at 2,123 units and improving trends.

Royal Enfield holds a dominant 94 per cent share in the 350cc segment, fueled by models like Classic 350, which made up 40 per cent of that category. Higher-capacity bikes like the 650 cc twins secured 97 per cent market share in their band. Exports grew steadily, supporting the Himalayan 450's global success.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is on sale in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 3.05 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 452 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which produces 40 hp of power and 40 Nm of peak torque. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.
