- BMW plans to launch 27 products across its brands in India in 2026
- Eight new products will arrive in Q2, with the rest spread over the next two quarters
- Electric vehicles remain key with models like Mini Aceman EV and updated iX
BMW Group has announced its plan to launch a total of 27 products across its brands in India in 2026, with the rollout spanning BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad. Among these four products, two have already been launched in the country, with 23 remaining for the future. The company has said eight of these products will arrive in the second quarter, while the remaining launches are planned across the next two quarters.
The product offensive includes six all-new nameplates for the Indian market, four models that will receive comprehensive updates, and 17 existing models that will get facelifts or model-year changes. Among the new launches confirmed or expected in the near future are the BMW F 450 GS, which is scheduled to go on sale on April 23, the BMW i5 LWB, and the BMW iX3. The automaker has already launched BMW M2 CS, BMW X3 30, BMW M 1000 R and MINI Cooper S Victory Edition.

BMW Group India's broader plan also points to continued electrification. The launch list is expected to include the Mini Aceman EV, while the company has also signalled that an updated BMW iX is among the models due for a major refresh. This suggests that electric vehicles will remain an important part of BMW Group's India strategy through the year. The strategy seems to be backed by the Q1 sales numbers, in which 26 per cent of the sales come from EVs.

The launch push comes after a strong start to 2026. BMW reported retail sales of 4,567 units in the first quarter, up 17 per cent year-on-year. The company also posted 1,185 electric vehicle sales across BMW and MINI, while its luxury EV share stood at 70 per cent in the segment for the quarter.

BMW's performance in India has been supported by demand for long-wheelbase models and SUVs. Long-wheelbase sales rose 23 per cent year-on-year to 2,256 units, while SUV sales increased 38 per cent to 2,996 units in the quarter. MINI sold 213 cars in the same period, and BMW Motorrad delivered 1,216 motorcycles.
The latest announcement shows BMW Group's intent to widen its portfolio rather than rely on a small number of volume models. With new products spread across multiple brands, the company appears set for one of its busiest years yet in India.
