Bollywood actor and comedian, well-known for his work on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show, celebrated his birthday with a surprise from his wife, Kashmera Shah. This came in the form of a brand new BYD Seal electric sedan, which comes at a starting price of Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). The visuals of the couple taking delivery of the brand-new EV were shared on social media. Some even showed Krushna being shocked by the new purchase of Kashmera.
The visuals show Krushna Abhishek arriving at the dealership while his family waits for him. Later on, they are seen celebrating their new electric sedan by cutting a cake. Furthermore, the family checks out their new purchase. For a few seconds, Krushna can be seen sitting in the front passenger seat while Kashmera takes the driver's seat. Based on the visuals, the couple has chosen the Atlantis Gray colour of the EV. Besides that, it is also available in Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Shark Gray.

Chances are, Krushna Abhishek and Kashmera Shah's BYD Seal is the first of its kind in Bollywood. The electric sedan is one of the premium offerings of the brand in India and comes packed with features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, head-up display, crystal toggle shifter, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seat ventilation, 360-degree camera, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and 8-way power-adjustable front seats.
The BYD Seal offers two battery choices: 61.44 kWh and 82.56 kWh. The smaller battery is paired with a rear-motor configuration, delivering 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque, and claims a range of 510 km. The larger 82.56 kWh battery comes with both RWD and AWD configurations. The RWD variant generates 312 hp and 360 Nm and can achieve a distance of 650 km on a single charge. The AWD version features a dual-motor arrangement that produces 530 hp and 670 Nm, with a claimed range of 580 km. This top-end model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 3.8 seconds.
The Seal supports fast charging at a rate of up to 150 kW, allowing it to charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in just 37 minutes. Using an 11 kW AC charger, it will take 8.6 hours to reach a full charge. Additionally, the car is equipped with V2L (Vehicle to Load) technology, enabling it to power devices while on the move.
