India's premium motorcycle space is gearing up for an exciting wave of twin-cylinder launches, spanning everything from adventure tourers and retro ADVs to sharp supersports. With brands like BMW, Royal Enfield, Norton, TVS, and KTM preparing fresh middleweight offerings, enthusiasts are set to be spoiled for choice over the coming months. Here's a look at five upcoming twin-cylinder motorcycles expected to make their India debut soon.
BMW F 450 GS
BMW Motorrad's upcoming F 450 GS is among the most highly anticipated launches in the ADV segment. Production has already commenced at TVS Motor's Hosur facility, underlining the growing BMW-TVS alliance. Powering the bike is a newly developed 450cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, producing 48 PS and 43 Nm, paired with Quickshifter Pro. Positioned as a lightweight adventure tourer, it promises premium touring capability with accessible performance.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750
Royal Enfield is deep into the final stages of testing the Himalayan 750, and multiple spy shots have already confirmed its road-ready development status. Expected to sit above the current Himalayan 450, the bigger ADV will likely use the brand's new 750cc twin-cylinder platform. With Ladakh testing already underway, the Himalayan 750 could become Royal Enfield's most capable long-distance off-roader yet.

Norton Atlas
The Norton Atlas marks the British brand's much-awaited return to India under TVS ownership. The middleweight adventure tourer has already been spied testing on Indian roads and is expected to arrive in multiple trims. It is likely to be powered by a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crank, producing close to 70 bhp. Premium touches like a large TFT touchscreen, keyless ignition, LED cornering lights, and touring-focused ergonomics should help it stand out.

BMW F 450 RR / TVS Apache RR 450
Spy shots of a fully-faired motorcycle based on the new BMW-TVS 450 platform hint at the arrival of either the BMW F 450 RR or the TVS Apache RR 450. Either way, it signals an exciting new entrant in the sub-500cc supersport class. The bike is expected to use the same 420cc twin-cylinder engine producing around 48 hp and 43 Nm, with aggressive ergonomics, winglets, clip-ons, and premium suspension hardware.

Next-Gen KTM RC 390
KTM is also expected to expand its fully-faired lineup with a twin-cylinder RC offering, likely inspired by its international middleweight platform strategy. While official details remain scarce, a more powerful RC positioned above the current single-cylinder RC 390 could bring sharper highway performance and stronger competition for upcoming twin-cylinder supersports from BMW and TVS. Also, recent media reports suggest that the next-gen KTM 390 RC will debut in 2027.
