2025 Honda CBR250RR comes with a 249 cc engine
Honda, the Japanese manufacturer, has launched the 2025 CBR250RR in Japan. In this latest iteration, the bike gets subtle updates to its aggressive and sporty design. All of this comes at a starting price of JPY 9,02,000 (around Rs 5.34 lakh) for the Pearl Glare White version, while the Grand Prix Red version is priced at JPY 9,40,500 (around Rs 5.56 lakh).
Starting with the design, the 2025 Honda CBR250RR comes with a very sharp design. This design is directly inspired by its eldest sibling, the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. The hints of the design can be seen in the twin LED headlamp and the DRLs. Adding to it, the bike comes with fairing-mounted ORVMs with LED indicators. To complement the design, it gets a muscular fuel tank. The low-set clip-on handlebars give the rider a committed seating position.

On the side of hardware, the bike gets USD telescopic forks with Gold shade sourced from Showa. At the rear end, it gets a rear mono-shock setup. Braking is the responsibility of single-petal disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. The bike also gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110-section tyre for the front end and 140-section rear tyre. All of this contributes to the bike's 168 kg kerb weight.
The 2025 Honda CBR250RR seeks power from a 249 cc parallel twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This unit is tuned to produce 41 hp of power at 13,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 25 Nm while revving at 10,750 rpm. This unit works in conjunction with a six-speed gearbox working with a slipper clutch and quick shifter.
This is one of the bikes that the brand had patented earlier in India. However, the launch of this bike in the country is unlikely. Currently, the brand seems to be increasing its line of performance bikes in the Indian market. The latest additions to the range are the middle-weight sportbikes, the CBR650R and CB650R.
