Saibal Chatterjee
A writer and film critic. He has been critiquing films and writing on Indian and world cinema since the late 1980s for a variety of publications and media platforms. His movie reviews have appeared on ndtv.com for more than 15 years. He has served on numerous festival juries and selection committees, besides being a member of the now-defunct Film Certification Appellate Tribunal. He authored an autobiography of filmmaker-lyricist Gulzar and edited Encyclopedia Britannica's volume on Hindi cinema, besides writing scripts for several documentary films.
