It's been a dramatic and to many a disappointing end at the Jaipur Literature Festival with Booker winner Salman Rushdie not even being allowed to go through with his virtual participation. Rushdie was actually supposed to join in the literary festival through satellite but the day saw some protests at the venue, after which the organisers decided to call it off.
