Lottery sellers across Tamil Nadu are campaigning for the DMK-led coalition, hoping that their trade will be revived if the DMK captures power. Nearly 25 lakh people, thousands of whom are disabled, had lost their livelihood three years back when Chief Minister Jayalalithaa banned the lottery business in the state.
